mandarin essential oil is extracted from the fruit of the mandarin tree. The mandarin tree is part of the citrus family. It is a bushy shrub native to China, Vietnam and Japan. Mandarin is rich in vitamin C and therefore helps to strengthen the immune system. It has soothing and calming properties, which help with sleep disorders, as well as anxiety and stress. The essential oil is cold-pressed from the peel of the fruit.
