A dense shrub belonging to the Lamiaceae family, rosemary is widespread along the Mediterranean coast, where it thrives in the marine climate.

It can be used in weekly rotation with juniper, elderberry, sage, and mugwort hydrosols in slimming and detox programs. Energizing, it also helps regulate weight gain and water retention before menstruation. Digestion tip: 1 teaspoon of rosemary hydrosol in a cup of hot water at the end of a meal is as invigorating as a cup of coffee.

Precautions

Hydrosols are sensitive to contamination. Store in a cool, dark, and cool place. If you observe a dust-like deposit, filter your hydrosol using a paper filter. If fermentation occurs and you notice a change in the appearance or odor of your hydrosol, discontinue use. Before consuming any hydrosol orally, familiarize yourself with its contraindications and strictly adhere to the recommended dosages. If in doubt, seek advice from a qualified professional.
